Riders code of Conduct & Safety Briefing

Below are a few points we would like you to consider before riding to ensure the health and safety of all riders.
Mountain biking, like any extreme sport, is dangerous and includes obstacles, which can be physically testing. There is a risk of injury and death when undertaking such activities.
Ensure you ride within your ability. Trails are graded according to ability, ensuring you are competent to ride each track. If in doubt, start on the easier trails and work your way up.
Please be aware of your own ability and familiarise yourself with the trails before riding.
Ensure you have correct equipment and check the maintenance of your bike before riding.
You must wear a helmet. A Full-face helmet, eye protection, body armour and gloves are highly recommended. If you do not have a helmet you will not be allowed to ride.
Full-Face helmets are compulsory on the Black Trail.
It is your responsibility to ensure you and your equipment is fit for purpose.
A parent or guardian must accompany riders aged 12 or under at all times.
Do not walk up the tracks, if you have to stop please try and move off the trail as soon as possible.
Please take your litter with you or put it in the bin provided and do not leave rubbish or bottles beside the trails.
In the unfortunate case of an accident or injury, please ensure that you report it to a member of staff to ensure it can be recorded and reviewed for future reference.
The owners reserve the right to revoke day passes and/or ban riders from the park for breach of the code and safety.
